She loves being part of a team that works really well together, with each member offering their own unique personality to the group. The entire team constantly works toward the same goal: helping our furry friends!

Danielle, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Danielle joined DePorre in 2012 and has a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in veterinary technology. She is proud to be part of a practice that delivers high-quality veterinary medicine. She also loves the close-knit family of awesome co-workers as well as the friendly and dedicated clientele.
In addition to her work at the hospital, Danielle also travels to Mexico each year to participate in the Mazunte Veterinary Project, together with Dr. Pierre DePorre. Along with a team of veterinarians, nurses, and students, they provide free dog sterilization services to villages near critical sea turtle nesting beaches. Sterilization helps reduce the dog population (many of whom will dig up and eat sea turtle eggs), which in turn, promotes the survival of the endangered sea turtles.
Danielle and her husband, Dave, have three pets including Pinniped, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel; Petoskey, a grey Tuxedo cat; and Mango, a flame-point Ragdoll cat. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and backpacking in the mountains, horseback riding, and traveling, especially internationally.
