Meet Our Skilled Veterinary Technicians

Clarice joined the DePorre team in 2021 and has her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She is always looking for ways to improve her skills as an LVT. She is a veterinary technician specialist (VTS) in clinical practice for canines and felines.

Erica brings a lot of experience to our team. She began at DePorre in 1999 and has 20+ years of hands-on experience in the veterinary field. She also spent two years in college in general studies.

Gabby joined us in 2011. She has a bachelor's degree in zoology from Michigan State University and earned her LVT from Macomb Community College in 2018. At DePorre, she loves the dedication each person has here to make every pet's visit as fear free as possible.

Karen is one of our licensed veterinary technicians who joined the team in 2015. She has an associate degree in applied science from Wayne County Community College.

Katie joined the DePorre team in 2012. She has an associate degree in Applied Science from Baker College, as well as a bachelor's degree in English from Oakland University.

Kim joined us in 2016 and possesses a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina. She is proud to be a part of an exceptional veterinary team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care with an additional commitment to a fear free experience for every pet.

Jessica began her journey at DePorre in 2014. She started as an animal caregiver, then became a veterinary assistant, and now is a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Lisi started with DePorre Veterinary Hospital in 2018. She graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology.

Mellissa is one of our LVTs and started with the DePorre team in 2013. She gained her education from Macomb Community College and has her Associates in Applied Science.

Nikki joined the DePorre in 1995 after graduating from MCC in 1998. She believes that patient care is a top priority and appreciates that everyone works together as a team and that our Fear Free techniques allow patients to feel comfortable.

Paula joined the DePorre team in 2010. She has always loved animals, and after fulfilling her goal in becoming an LVT, she has taken a special interest in surgery. Her education includes a degree from Wayne County Community College, as well as certification from Irene's Myomassology Institute.

Samantha joined DePorre in 2016 and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. While working with us, she appreciates all the time and care everyone puts in toward all the pets who come into DePorre. The team here treats every single one as if they were their own pets!
